Fun things to do in New York: Mermaid Parade
The Mermaid Parade happens in mid-June. I have no idea why. But since Coney Island is defunct, maybe these photos will retain some historical value.

How to go on a hike in NY
A fun hike to do in the City. This is how you do it. 1- Go to Grand Central. 2- Take MTA train - the Hudson (green) line to Cold Spring. It should be like half an hour. 3- Follow crowd of hikers leaving train station until you find a trail. 4- Hike trail. Ask hikers that you run into, whether you are going the right direction. 5- Have fun!
